This bowl became one of my staples when I first started taking gut health seriously. It’s light enough for my eating window, A simple go to gut friendly breakfast bowl. The crunch of nuts gives it texture and keeps you full, while that drizzle of honey ties it all together like a warm hug, mm mm mm. It’s not just delicious, it feels like you’re feeding your body and your soul something it wants, it´s and every ingredient supports digestion, not just calories on a plate.

When I felt bloated, sluggish or off-track, I came back to this gut-friendly breakfast bowl. It helped me reset without overthinking it.


🍽️ Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup plain organic kefir or unsweetened yogurt
  • 1-2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 small green apple, chopped
  • A handful of blueberries, raspberries or blackberries
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 5–6 almonds or cashew (chopped)
  • Optional: sprinkle of coconut flakes or a drizzle of honey

🔪 Instructions:

  1. Add the kefir or yogurt to a bowl as your base.
  2. Stir in the cinnamon and flax/chia.
  3. Top with chopped apple and berries/banana.
  4. Add nuts and any extras (coconut, honey).
  5. Serve fresh, eat slow, mindfully.
